Prerequisites

  • User is logged in
  • User has data.sales.contacts.update permission
  • A contact exists within the user’s scope

Test Steps

Contact detail page loads

System opens the edit dialog with current field values pre-populated

Modify one or more fields (e.g., change the Title or update the Phone number)
Fields accept the modified values

Click Save to submit the changes
System validates the input and updates the contact record

Verify the contact detail view refreshes and displays the updated values
Updated fields reflect the new values on the contact detail page

Log in as Director of Training and verify the Edit button is NOT visible on the contact detail view
Edit button is absent for users without update permission
