  • User is logged in
  • User has data.sales.contacts.update permission
  • A contact exists within the user’s scope

Test Steps

Navigate to a contact’s detail view by clicking their name in the Contacts list
Contact detail page loads showing existing contact methods

Click to add a contact method (e.g., add an additional phone number, email, or LinkedIn profile)
A form or input appears for entering the new contact method type and value

Enter the contact method details (e.g., type: Mobile Phone, value: 555-123-4567) and save
System creates the contact method record and it appears in the contact methods section

Click Edit on the newly created contact method, modify the value, and save
Contact method updates and the modified value is displayed

Click Set as Primary on a contact method
The selected method is marked as primary and visually indicated (e.g., badge, icon, or label)

Add another contact method of the same type (e.g., a second email) and verify both are listed with the primary designation clear
Both methods display. Primary method is visually distinguished from the non-primary one

Click Delete on a non-primary contact method and verify it is removed
Contact method is removed from the list
