Navigate to a company’s detail view by clicking its name in the Companies list

Company detail page loads with a Delete button visible

Click the Delete button on the company detail view

System presents a confirmation dialog asking to confirm the deletion

Read the confirmation message to verify it identifies the correct company

Confirmation dialog clearly states the company name and warns about the action

Click Confirm (or Delete) in the confirmation dialog

System soft-deletes the company and redirects to the Companies list

Verify the deleted company no longer appears in the Companies list

Company is removed from the list view

Log in as a Sales Rep and verify the Delete button is NOT visible on any company detail view

Delete button is absent from the company detail view for users without delete permission

Delete button is visible only to users with delete permission (Admin, Sales Manager)
Confirmation dialog appears before deletion
Company is soft-deleted and removed from the list
Related data (contacts, opportunities) remains but is orphaned
Users without delete permission do not see the Delete button
