Prerequisites

  • User is logged in
  • User has data.sales.companies.update permission
  • A company exists within the user’s scope
  • A test file is available for upload (e.g., a PDF or text document)

Test Steps

Navigate to a company’s detail view and click the Documents tab
Documents tab loads showing existing documents (if any)

Click the Upload button on the Documents tab
A file upload dialog opens

Select one or more files to upload
Files are selected and ready for upload

Confirm the upload
System uploads and stores the files

Verify the uploaded documents appear in the list with name, size, uploader, and date
Documents list displays the uploaded files with correct metadata

Click the download link/button on an uploaded document
File downloads to your local machine and opens correctly

Verify the downloaded file matches the original uploaded file
Downloaded file content and size match the original

Click Delete on a document and confirm the deletion
Document is removed from the list
