  • An open opportunity exists within the user’s scope

Test Steps

Opportunity detail page loads with Won and Lost buttons visible

Click the Won button
System presents a confirmation dialog

Optionally add close notes in the confirmation dialog, then click Confirm
System processes the closure

Verify the Stage updates to Closed-Won
Stage roadmap shows Closed-Won as the final stage

Verify the Change Stage, Won, and Lost buttons are removed from the UI
Stage change buttons are no longer visible on the closed opportunity

Navigate to a different open opportunity and click the Lost button
System presents a confirmation dialog with a Reason field for the loss

Enter a loss reason (e.g., ‘Competitor pricing’), add optional close notes, and click Confirm
System processes the closure

Verify the opportunity’s stage updates to Closed-Lost and stage change buttons are removed
Opportunity is closed-lost, remains visible, and is no longer editable for stage changes
