Click the catalog search input field (or press Ctrl+K)

Search input field gains focus and is ready for input

Type 2 or more characters of a known equipment name or SKU (e.g., ‘bizhub’)

MiniSearch performs fuzzy matching and results begin filtering instantly

Verify non-matching items are hidden from the catalog tree

Only matching items (and their ancestor categories/manufacturers) remain visible

Verify ancestor categories and manufacturers auto-expand to show matching items

Parent categories and manufacturers containing matches are expanded automatically

Verify matching terms are highlighted with a yellow background on the matching items

Search terms appear highlighted in yellow within item names or SKUs

Clear the search by pressing Backspace until the field is empty (or click the clear button)

Search field clears

Verify the catalog returns to normal browse mode with the previous expansion state restored

Catalog tree returns to its pre-search state with previously expanded/collapsed nodes preserved
