Prerequisites

  • User is logged in
  • A solution with items exists on an opportunity within the user’s scope

Test Steps

Navigate to an opportunity’s Solutions tab where at least one solution with items exists
Solutions tab shows one or more existing solutions

Click Configure on an existing solution
Solution Configurator dialog opens

Verify all existing items, quantities, accessories, and metadata are pre-populated in the configurator
Right panel shows all previously saved items with correct quantities, accessories attached, and metadata (name, SLA, Tier) intact

Make a modification: change a quantity (e.g., increase an item from 1 to 3)
Quantity updates and line totals recalculate

Add a new item from the catalog to the solution
New item appears in the right panel and totals recalculate

Close the configurator, then reopen the solution and verify both modifications persisted
Quantity change and newly added item are both present in the reopened configurator
