Navigate to a solution or proposal and configure pricing that exceeds the discount threshold

Pricing fields accept the discounted values

Save or submit the pricing changes

System detects the discount exceeds the threshold and flags it for approval

Verify the system displays a discount approval required indicator or notification

A visual indicator shows the discount requires manager approval before it can be applied

Verify the Sales Manager receives an approval request notification

Notification is sent to the Sales Manager about the pending discount approval

Log out and log in as Sales Manager (t.gentry.test@circlemsp.com / MyPassw0rd123!)

Dashboard loads with Sales Manager scope

Navigate to the discount approval request and review the details

Discount details are visible including the original price, discounted price, and percentage

Click Approve on the discount request

Discount is approved and applied to the solution or proposal

Create another discount that exceeds the threshold and have the manager reject it

Discount is rejected with a reason

Verify the unauthorized discount cannot be applied – the original pricing remains

Rejected discount is not applied and the pricing reverts to pre-discount values
